Language courses
Basic Dutch and English language courses for foreigners are our specialty. We have been offering them for over 30 years, and our teachers speak one of the following languages in addition to Dutch: Polish, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Turkish, German, Spanish, Romanian and Russian. At Talen Training Centrum, you can take courses both in person and online.
What can you expect?
- Lessons with a teacher who, in addition to Dutch, also speaks your native language.
- Educational materials: books, flashcards, and access to the E-learning platform (worth €120.00).
- Lessons with a native speaker – by prior arrangement with TTC.
- Access to the platform “Nederland voor Buitenlanders” to better learn about Dutch culture.
- A test at the end of each module.
- A diploma in accordance with CEF levels (Common European Framework).
- Our courses start at level A0 and go up to level C2 (and even further, such as preparation for the NT2 exam).

Types of courses
Individual lessons
For individual learners, we offer the following course formats:
- In-person: Classes are held at a location specified by the employer. One module consists of 6 lessons, each lasting 2 hours (total 12 hours).
- Online, live with the teacher: Classes take place via Skype, Zoom, or another video platform. One module consists of 8 lessons, each lasting 60 minutes, plus 2 lessons of 15 minutes (total 8.5 hours).
Group lessons
Group courses are for 3 to 10 people, preferably with a similar language level. We offer the following course formats:
- In-person: Classes are held at a location specified by the employer. One module consists of 8 lessons, each lasting 2.5 hours (total 20 hours).
- Online, live with the teacher: Classes take place via Skype, Zoom, or another video platform. One module consists of 8 lessons, each lasting 60 minutes, plus 2 lessons of 15 minutes (total 8.5 hours).
E-learning
Access to the E-learning platform with various exercises (audio recordings, mp3 files, listening, reading, grammar and vocabulary exercises, and videos). An ideal form of self-study – all you need is a smartphone or laptop.

Modules and levels
At TTC, we assess foreign language proficiency based on the criteria used in the Common European Framework (CEF). CEF proficiency levels establish standardized benchmarks for all foreign languages and allow for the comparison of exam levels and certificates across different languages. Four skills are assessed: speaking, reading, listening, and writing.
Levels description:
Basic user: A0-A2
Intermediate user: B1-B2
Advanced user: C1-C2
Our courses are divided into modules. For example, to progress from A0 to A1, you need 2 modules (M1 + M2), from A1 to A2 – M3 + M4, and so on.
